This is the fastest route for podcasts, interviews, lectures and voice notes, because there is no video to decode — the file goes straight into the speech model.

Which audio formats work?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and AAC in a modern browser.
Do the timings start at zero?
Yes, relative to the start of the audio you dropped. If your project timeline starts elsewhere, shift everything with the offset buttons.
Can I get WebVTT instead of SRT?
Yes. Both are produced from the same run, along with a plain text transcript and a zip of all three.
Is there a length limit?
No. However processing runs at roughly 0.6× realtime, so a one hour recording would take over an hour and a half. Splitting long material into parts is much more practical.
