Podcasts to text, two ways out
The same transcript serves two different jobs. As TXT it becomes show notes, a searchable archive, or the raw material for a blog post. As SRT or VTT it becomes captions for the video version, or subtitles for clips you cut for social.
Both come out of a single run here, so there is no need to process the episode twice.
On length
Podcast episodes are long, and local transcription runs at roughly 0.5–1× realtime — an hour-long episode takes about two hours. Splitting the export into 10-minute chunks keeps it responsive and lets you work through the transcript progressively.

Can I transcribe a full hour-long episode?
Technically yes, but expect over an hour and a half of processing. Splitting into parts is faster to start showing results and easier to correct.
Does it handle multiple hosts?
It transcribes speech without identifying speakers. Overlapping talk reduces accuracy; the editor lets you fix lines afterwards.
What do I get for show notes?
The TXT export — the full transcript as plain text with no timings.
Is the episode uploaded?
