Why is WAV better than MP3 here?
WAV stores audio uncompressed. MP3 discards some detail to save space, and that lost detail occasionally turns into a misheard word.
Are WAV files too large to handle?
WAV files are big, but size does not slow down transcription — only the length of the recording does. A large 3 minute WAV processes just as fast as a small 3 minute WAV.
Can I export just the text?
Yes, the TXT export gives you the transcript with no timings.
Is the file uploaded?
